    Following are messages from the Chamber and our members regarding current operating status.  We will keep this page updated as information comes in.  

    The Chamber Board of Directors is working remotely and is in regular communication via Slack and telephone.

    The Annual Members Meeting has been cancelled.  An annual report will be distributed as soon as practical.  At this time the Chamber team is focused on supporting our members, keeping up with press conferences, and any available assistance programs.

    The March Round Table meeting with Supervisor Scrivner and participating agencies has been cancelled.  It will be rescheduled and we continue our advocacy work on behalf of the community.

    Mountain Communities Women in Business get-togethers have been cancelled.  The Facebook group is still active and welcomes participation.

    We have posted two resource pages on our website with information regarding COVID-19.  These pages are being updated regularly.

    BaseCamp Cafe and Info Lounge:  Open Thursday through Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm, Sunday through Wednesday by appointment only.  To-go orders are available.  Home delivery is available for an additional $3.50 to cover time and gas expense.
    They also have a pantry list and a vegan pantry box, both set up so residents are able to get meat, eggs, produce, bread, and other basic supplies.  Visit their Facebook page for the pantry forms, as pricing and availability of items may change.

    Falcon's Nest:  Extended hours to help with evening food choices.  Open Monday - Saturday at 7 am.  To-go orders and delivery are available from 11 am to 6:30 pm Monday - Saturday (closing time at 7  pm).  Please check their Facebook page for updates on hours and daily specials.

    La Sierra Mexican Restaurant:  Open!  Check their Facebook page for updates and a menu.

    Red Dot Vegetarian Kitchen:  Open 6 am to 9 pm, seven days a week.  To-go orders and delivery are available.  Some days will include meals gifted to the community.  Please check their Facebook page for updates.

    The Place:  Open Wednesday to Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm.  To-go orders are available and encouraged.  Please call 661-766-2660 to order.  You can pay with credit card over the phone, then pull up to the restaurant and honk twice so your order can be brought out.  They are taking every precautionary step to assure the most clean environment possible.  In addition to regular hygiene, they are being extra vigilant and have increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing high touch surfaces.


    Blue Rose Pet Salon:  Closed for grooming services until mid-May.  Clients will receive a letter with the opening hours and protocol.  Owner Linda Robredo is producing washable linen face masks with room for an additional filter insert, which can be purchased online through the Oakenfoot shop on Etsy.

    CKPK-LP:  Local Pine Mountain Club radio station KCPK-LP (FM 106.9 and www.kcpk-lp.org) is offering live on-site broadcasting to the community.  If you want to broadcast your meeting, hold a teleconference, or any other need, please contact Shelia Clark at 661-644-3943 to discuss options.  This service is being offered free to the community.

    Joseph Carrasquillo, EA:  Offering tax return preparation for retirees who cannot access AARP or VITA services due to office closures.  He will do tax preparation and filing for individuals with 1099-R, SSA, and W-2 for a flat fee of $50.  This charge is only to cover his filing costs incurred when submitting the tax return, his services are offered free.  Tax preparation is also available for individuals with more complex needs; please call him to discuss your individual case and get a quote.

    Main Street Graphics:  Special offer!  4-6 weeks of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) at no charge for five local charities.  No catch, no gimmick, no contract.  To qualify:  1. Need to be local to SCV Valley, Burbank, or Frazier Park/PMC.  2. Need to be a working nonprofit.  3.  Need assistance with social media.  4.  Don't have time, resources or budget for social media/online marketing.  5.  Not a current client of Main Street Social Program.  Contact Phillis for more details.

    Mountain Enterprise:  The office lobby is closed.  The newspaper is continuing business as usual otherwise, with all services available.  Rather than stopping in to the office, just call 661-245-3794 to subscribe, make a payment, start advertising, and more.  News tips can be emailed to editor@mountainenterprise.com.  Obituaries can be emailed to obituaries@mountainenterprise.com.  

    Frazier Park Lumber & Hardware:  Doors are open with 2-3 customers allowed at a time, credit card preferred for all transactions.  Hours are: Monday - Friday from 7 am to 6 pm, Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 8 am to 4 pm.   They are working with their suppliers to stock up on in-demand products such as cleaning and disinfectant products, hand soaps, hand sanitizer, and more.  You can purchase online at acehardware.com or call 661-245-3301 to order directly from the store.  They will bring your order out curbside.

    Frazier Park Market:  The market is open for seniors 65 and older only, from 10 am to 11 am.  Market hours are 11 am to 9 pm for all others.

    Koehler's Cottage Garden:  The store and nursery are closed.  Firewood delivery and floral delivery is available while inventory lasts.

    Rescued Treasures Thrift Store:  As of May 19, open from 10 am to 4 pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.   Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.


    In the Wings Studio of Dance:  Closed from March 16 to June 14.  Tentative re-opening date of June 15th with new policies and procedures.  Follow their Facebook page for updates and information about new procedures and the summer schedule.

    Los Padres Kung Fu San Soo:  Very limited reopening, and current students are to call before going to the studio.  Follow their Facebook page for specific information.


    Mountain Communities Family Resource Center:  Temporarily modifying the way services are provided.  Services for Critical Needs are available and will be assessed through a phone call (661-245-4303).  Other needs will also be assessed through a phone call.  Please review all modifications to services at the pinned post on their Facebook page.

    Shelter on the Hill:  Open by appointment only.  The Shelter team advises EVERYONE to put collars on their pets that have tags with current contact information.  Strays and lost/found animals cannot be taken in to shelters and volunteer availability is limited.  Having correct contact information will help your pet be reunited with you ASAP.  If you do find a stray or lost animal without tags, please be prepared to care for it for at least a couple of weeks.  

    Tejon Ranch Conservancy:  All public and educational programming has been cancelled until further notice.


    CarolynsCreation: Accepting online orders for cardmaking supplies.  This is a great time to learn the art of handmade cards (made easy!)  Send lovely notes to your friends and neighbors to brighten their day.

    Scenario International, LLC: Accepting online orders for their line of Onyx black garlic, instant vegetable soups and stocks, and nutritional yeast extract.  Vegetarian and vegan products available.

    Scentsy with John and Karen Sadler:  The online store is open and orders can be placed anytime for wax melts, soap, lotion, cleaning products, and more.   

    Venita's Gourmet Sweets:  Accepting online orders for their gourmet soft crunch toffee.  Free delivery on the mountain!


    Pilot Flying J: Open - fueling gas, diesel, and DEF.  Showers at all locations are open  Deli Hot Food and Quick Service restaurants are still open and serving food (reduced hours).

    Frazier Mountain Community Church:  In-person family services (no children's classes) will be held at El Tejon Middle School on Sundays at 10 am, in accordance with the state instructions.  Please wear a mask and observe social distancing.  Services will also continue to be live streamed on Facebook.  

    Frazier Park Library:  Closed from March 17 to mid-June.  eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMusic, and eMovies are always available at kerncountylibrary.org/elibrary.  Online storytime and classes are being offered, so be sure to follow their Facebook page for those special events.


    Pine Mountain Club Lilac Festival:  The 2020 Festival has been cancelled.  Vendors who have already reserved their booth will receive a full refund.

    Ridge Route Run:  The 2020 car show has been cancelled.  Entrants who have already submitted payment will receive a refund.

    Wine in the Pines:   The 2020 Festival has been cancelled.  Ticket holders will receive a full refund.

    Fiesta Days:  The 2020 Festival has been cancelled.

    Run to the Pines:  The 2020 car show has been cancelled.  Entrants and vendors who have already submitted payment will receive a refund.
