Help the Forest Service maintain the natural beauty of our local forest. The Los Padres National Forest welcomes many visitors every year. These visitors enjoy our OHV and hiking trails, campgrounds, wilderness areas, beautiful scenery, trees and winter sports activities.
Let's do some clean-up and restoration work to allow our forest to shine!
The clean-up event will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 8:00am - 3:30pm. The project area is in the Kings Campground and Goldhill area where volunteers will be picking up litter, target shooting debris and repairing barriers and signs.
Wear long-sleeve shirts, long pants, boots, a hat and sun protection. Bring gloves, plenty of water and a lunch.
The USFS will provide the necessary tools, trash bags and vehicles for trash removal.
