Come out to visit Wind Wolves Preserve during our 5th annual Spring Nature Festival on March 3 and 4! The entire festival is free to attend, and will included activities such as guided hikes, wildflower viewing, a VR rock art experience, exhibit booths, and more! (Programas ofrecidos en español)
Saturday: Activities and exhibits open from 10am-4pm
Sunday: Activities and exhibits open from 10am-2:30pm
Special event on Saturday from 5:45-7:30pm: "Movies in the Canyon" at the newly renovated San Emigdio Canyon Sunset Theater (in the administration picnic area). Registration is required for this event and will open up on February 26th - call (661) 858-1115 to get on the list. We cannot advertise the movie due to copyright laws - so call us to find out what we'll be showing!
There are no advanced sign ups this year (with the exception of the Movies in the Canyon event on Saturday night). Everything will be first come, first serve or an ongoing activity!
We will also have a restoration station where you can participate as a volunteer land steward by watering and planting native plants and removing invasive plants. Leave your legacy at your local nature preserve!
WHAT TO BRING: Food, water, and any other gear that you'll need for a day outside. There will be NO FOOD VENDORS at this festival, so bring your food picnic style. We are a leave no trace facility, so please pack out your trash.
Are dogs allowed? Yes! They must remain on a leash at all times, and are allowed on all activities except the movie event on Saturday night.
