DESCRIPTION:The Kern County Fire Department is hosting a mandatory meeting for all parties interested in being included on the Hazard Reduction and Weed Abatement Contractor List.\n\n\n\nThe contractor list is a pubic information service for property owners desiring to hire a contractor to perform mandatory Hazard Reduction and Weed Abatement clearance on their property. \n\n\n\nDuirng the meeting\, a fire department representative will show a PowerPoint presentation with an overview of the Hazard Reduction requirements and the expectations of all contractors on the fire department list.  \n\n\n\nOpen discussion of the Fire Hazard Reduction program will follow and all persons in attendance will have an opportunity to ask questions related to the fire department expectations.
